What a great location - under the colorful cranes on Dravo Plaza along the Christina River.
|
Man, was it hot - mid 90's (both temperature and humidity). If we didn't have so much fun, it might have almost seemed like work.

The crowd started showing up early to stake out the prime real estate for their folding chairs.
|
Some people took refuge from the sun along the sidewalks of the Shipyard Shops but plenty close to hear the music.

If you look close, to the right of Chicken Shack you can see the Christina River and a bit of the Wilmington skyline.

"Backstage" before concert. Notice how well we've hidden the flasks? We're known for being discreet.

The setting sun made Rooster's Telecaster look like it was on fire. Of course, Rooster says the sun had nothing to do with it...
|
The band played until well after the sun set. We didn't stop until the sound crew threatened to unplug us. We've never done an 'unplugged' session, but doubt we'd like it...
