Chicken Shack
GUITAR
You can call him Chicken Shack, you can call him CShack, you can call him the Shack, but for God's sake don't call him Shorty. He might just bust you up.

Chicken Shack grew up just east of Chicago -- the home of the blues -- across the river from Philadelphia -- the home of the Philly Cheesesteak -- in a place called Camden, New Jersey. For most, just being born in Camden is itself a license to sing the blues. For the Chicken Shack, his tough early years in as a young boy in Camden only further added to his blues credentials. His father, a poor immigrant from Scotland, delivered milk in his run down neighborhood. His mother was a Cajun fortune teller from the bayous of Louisiana. She only spoke the Cajun version of French around the house, so when the Shack was born, she named him Shaquille de Poulet. He had few friends as a young boy, mainly because none of the other kids could pronounce his name, particularly with a Jersey accent (think Tony Soprano speaking French -- doesn't work does it?). So Shack was a loner until he reached school age. Even in school, he was forever getting in fights because the other boys would strangely call him Shorty.
Coming next : The Shack has a breakthrough when he goes to Popeye's, finds out what "poulet" means and the Chicken Shack is born. But is he spicy or mild???
